Reporting to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach, the Assistant Coach will assist in developing, organizing and administering all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball team.  This is a four (4) month, part-time position.

Responsibilities include:

• recruiting qualified student-athletes,
• coaching,
• conducting and supervising regular practice sessions and contests,
• assisting with the coordination of all team travel and assisting in driving a passenger van for away team travel,
• acting as a mentor for student-athlete personal development,
• assisting in the coordination of team fundraising and community services events, and
• performs related duties as required.

The Assistant Coach is responsible for compliance with Title IX, NCAA, Skyline Conference and SUNY Old Westbury rules and regulations.  The successful candidate should have experience with multicultural student body populations.
