Southeast Arkansas Community College (SEARK) in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, is thrilled to announce the launch of our inaugural Women’s Basketball program! As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as the Women’s Assistant Basketball Coach.

Location: Pine Bluff, Arkansas
Position Type: Full-time, 12-month contract
Salary: $20,000 annually, including housing and meals

Responsibilities:

• Assist the head coach in all aspects of the women’s basketball program
• Assist with recruiting talented student-athletes to build a competitive team
• Provide on-court coaching and player development
• Assist with scouting opponents and developing game strategies
• Support academic success and personal development of student-athletes
• Other duties as assigned by the head coach or athletic director

Qualifications:

• Coaching experience, preferably in women’s basketball
• Recruiting experience, with a proven track record of identifying and attracting talent
• Junior college experience is highly preferred
• Playing or managerial experience at the collegiate level
• Experience coaching in AAU programs is advantageous
• Ability to scout opponents and contribute to game planning
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Must have reliable transportation
