Assist with all aspects of NCAA Division I women’s basketball program, including student-athlete recruitment, on floor coaching, monitoring academic progress, and on court development. Must comply with all NCAA and Saint Mary’s College rules, regulations, and by-laws. Other duties will be assigned by Head Coach may include summer camps, donors, community service involvement, and on campus involvement.

• Assist wth organizing practice and intercollegiate competitions. Teach necessary fundamental basketball skills and strategies of team play.
• Promote and foster a positive team environment, appropriate behavior, and sportsmanship by team members.
• Coordinate and monitor the academic performance of team members.
• Assist with evaluating and recruitment of prospective student-athletes. This includes the documentation in software, assigned phone calls, emails, and written correspondence. Daily networking with high school coaches, club coaches, and junior college coaches. Assit with on and off campus visits of prospects.
• Work diligently to promote women’s basketball program to surrounding communities. Work with campus groups to promote women’s basketball program among students, faculty, and staff.
• Keep office organized and well maintained. Complete all campus paperwork and make sure all documents are secured properly.
