Randolph-Macon College institution is seeking a qualified candidate to apply for a full-time, 12-month Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach-Intern position. Randolph-Macon is a Division III member institution participating in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • This intern position will work to develop the mind and character of the student-athlete.
  • Primary responsibility is to coach/teach student-athletes in-game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition.
  • Student-athletes receive academic credit for participation in the varsity athletic program.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and previous competitive playing experience at the college or university level required; previous coaching experience preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with satisfactory motor vehicle record by insurance standards.
  • Applicants should be familiar and comfortable with the philosophy of education at a selective liberal arts college and with the Division III philosophy of athletics.
