The Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach is responsible assisting the Head Coach with all aspects of basketball operations.

Essential Duties

• Assists the head coach with instruction of players
• Assists in recruitment of student-athletes
• Organizes and directs individual and small group activities
• Assists with game strategy
• Assists and organizes practices
• Assist with camps and clinics
• Maintain effective working relationship with school administrators and students
• Serve as a Christian role model for students, parents, administrators, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members.
• Represent the University in a positive manager to administrators, faculty, staff, prospective and current students, parents, community members, and visitors through Christian conduct, behavior, and presentation on and off campus.

      Preferred requirements:

• Task oriented
• Organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher,
• Knowledgeable with social media platforms and trends particularly Instagram, twitter, facebook.
• Knowledge with graphic design
• Great organization skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient with creating and editing videos.
• Comfortability on court instructing a plus.

Requirements

• Experience at the high school or college level
• Effective coaching skills and knowledge of the game

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
