North Platte Community College is seeking a part-time assistant women’s basketball coach
for the 2021-22 academic year. The assistant coach should possess the ability to:

Job Duties and Responsibilities: *Communicate effectively as a recruiter for potential
student-athletes for NPCC *Assist and lead in skill development for each member of the
basketball program *Assist in practice planning and attend each practice *Assist with game
preparation *Manage athletic apparel and equipment *Coordinate travel schedules
*Coordinate community outreach events *Assist with existing fundraising efforts and
stimulate ideas for new fundraising opportunities *Coordinate video editing efforts *Monitor
study tables and check classroom attendance *Assist with program promotion through social
media channels, marketing, & public relations *Assist with efforts of eligibility through the NJCAA as well as within North Platte Community College *Promote the mission, values,
and culture of the Women’s Basketball Program *Perform other duties as assigned

Reports to: Head Coach and Athletic Director
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years coaching and/or competing in the respective
sport at the college level.
Additional Information: Possibility of pairing a Resident Life Assistant Housing position
to coaching. Room & Board could be included.
