The Naval Academy Athletic Association has an immediate opening for Assistant Coach Women’s Basketball. The position will be responsible for shared organization and instruction of team practices, off-season workouts and shared scouting/game prep on opponents. The position will require off-campus recruiting travel to evaluate prospective student/athletes as well as communicating with coaches and parents of prospects. The successful candidate will also have additional responsibilities to include support of administrative operations, team travel, game day preparations, and assist with the coordination of recruiting logistics. The qualified candidate will have three or more years’ experience coaching at the college level or commensurate experience. The candidate shall demonstrate the ability to pay attention to detail, enjoy problem solving, and perform duties as assigned. The successful candidate shall also possess excellent writing and communication skills. The candidate shall demonstrate a strong work ethic, be organized, be flexible, and be able to use technology required within the job..
