McPherson College welcomes applications for assistant coach for women’s basketball.

This is a part-time, 10 month, exempt position with graduate school tuition reimbursement benefit. This position also comes with college benefits, room and reports to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

The primary responsibility will be to assist the head coach in all facets of the program, including, but not limited to, the recruitment of quality student-athletes, organization and planning of practices, game preparation, administrative duties, scouting, monitoring of student-athlete academic progress and student life and/or residence hall responsibilities.  This coach is responsible for providing the instruction and teaching necessary for the student athletes to be successful in their athletic and academic endeavors.   This individual is also responsible for specific student/athlete instruction on athletic performance, physical health, and sport team concepts specific to basketball.

A bachelor’s degree is required. Previous participation and/or coaching experience at the college level is preferred.
