McKendree University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a full-time assistant coach for the women’s basketball program at its Lebanon, IL campus. The Bearcats compete as members of the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 2 year’s coaching experience. The coach will be responsible for recruiting student athletes to participate at the NCAA Division II level, scouting opponents, developing players while assisting and implementing drills in practices or workouts. Other responsibilities include managing team travel, ordering equipment, directing summer camps and other duties as assigned. The candidate will assist the head coach in providing leadership and instruction in the academic, personal, and athletic development of student athletes. The candidate will maintain compliance with all NCAA Division II guidelines and regulations. Travel is required.
