Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Part-time position/Non-benefit position
  • Flexible schedule
  • Assist the head coach in the organization, supervision, coordination of practices, games, recruiting and fundraising
  • Provide leadership within the sport program in-accordance with department and college policies
  • Be on-site at all athletic practices and games
  • Assist in recruiting and retain quality student-athletes
  • Assist students with placement to four year colleges
  • Adhere to the NJCAA rules and regulations

Represent McHenry County College in a professional manner

Required Education
High School graduate or equivalent

Other Required Qualifications

  • Coaching experience and/or playing of at least three years, preferably college, high school varsity
  • Experience working with athletes, diverse or at-risk populations required
  • Valid Driver’s License
