| Description: | Lamar Community College is in need of an assistant coach for our 2018-19 women’s basketball season. The assistant women’s basketball coach will be responsible for assisting the head coach in the recruitment and retention of our student athletes. Assist with recruiting, game planning, practice planning, individual skill development, academic success, strength and conditioning, inventory and maintenance of equipment as well as the organization of our program. Pay is $12,000. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Assisting in the basketball administrative work, practice prep, game prep, and travel. -Assisting in fundraising and marketing. -Assisting with position work. -Other duties as assigned by the head coach.
