Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Women’s Assistant Basketball Coach. This is
a full time, 10-month reporting position with benefits.

Under the general direction of the Head Women’s Basketball Coach, this coach will assist with the
responsibilities of the NCAA D-III Women’s Basketball program in accordance and compliance with
NCAA, NCAC, and Kenyon College policies and regulations. The Assistant Women’s Basketball
Coach will work in conjunction with the head coach to fulfill the following responsibilities: coaching
student athletes, scouting opponents, and recruiting. Although the head coach will be primarily
responsible for the organization, maintenance and implementation of the offensive and defensive
game plan and installation, this assistant position will work to complement this process. Additional

 Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
 Demonstrated experience instructing on the rules and fundamentals of the sport
 Collegiate women’s basketball coaching/playing experience is preferred
 Experience in recruitment of academically focused-student athletes is preferred
 CPR, First Aid and AED Certification is required (and can be completed after hire)
