Indiana University Northwest invites applicants for the open position of Assistant Coach for Women’s Basketball.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess strong organizational and communication skills. Playing/Coaching experience is preferred. A strong desire to coach at the collegiate level and an appreciation for women’s basketball is required.

Availability during weekday afternoons is necessary to attend practices. Availability during evenings and weekends is necessary to attend games. Fall practice schedule:

Monday: 6-8pm; Tuesday: 4-6pm; Wednesday: 3-5pm; Thursday: 4-6pm; Friday: 4-6pm

Duties:

Duties include assisting with facilitating practice, scouting and reviewing game film, building scouting reports, coordinating travel, recruiting, and other duties as assigned/desired.

Part-Time Status:

The selected candidate will receive a small stipend (approximately $4,000 for the year) that will be distributed as hourly pay. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
