Description:

High Point University is seeking a dynamic individual for the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach.  HPU is an NCAA Division I program and member of the Big South Conference. This position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of coaching and administration of the HPU women’s basketball program.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience/Training:

  • 2 years of experience coaching basketball; NCAA Division I level preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Recruitment of prospective student-athletes
  • Evaluation of student-athletes
  • Demonstrating basketball skills and techniques
  • Assist with strength training and nutrition programs
  • Administrative tasks including but not limited to: budgeting, travel and scheduling
  • Assist Head Coach with other duties as assigned
