Fresno City College Women’s Basketball focuses on the entire student athlete, creating a safe environment where they can grow as person, student, and basketball player.  We strive for and thrive in the process of becoming better each and every day on and off the court.  Fresno City College is seeking an assistant coach with a positive, supportive, and energetic approach to basketball and life.

Assist in the following duties: 

• Daily practice planning and game day management
• Implementation of short term and long-term recruiting plan
• Player development through spring and summer
• Monitor student-athletes’ academic progress
• Stat and film management
• Social media
• Fundraising

Qualifications 

• Club, high school, and/or college coaching experience preferred
• Playing experience preferred
• Sensitivity to diverse backgrounds
• Take and pass CCCAA exam
• Know/learn CCCAA rules and follow them
• Willingness to work hard and love what you do!

Compensation 

• Stipend during basketball season
• Teaching assignments may be available (for additional compensation) with Masters in Kinesiology or similar disciplines
