Dordt College is searching for an energetic individual, passionate about Christ-centered education and the game of basketball, to assist the Women’s Varsity Basketball Coach.  This individual would assist the head coach in providing leadership in the planning, organizing and coaching of the varsity basketball team.

Duties include assisting in the recruitment of student-athletes, overseeing a conditioning program, planning, and leading summer camps, and organizing the annual program fundraiser. In addition, this person may teach up to three courses per year.

Desired qualifications for this full-time position include a master’s degree and two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.  Visionary leadership skills and a servant heart are desired to help strengthen the basketball program athletically, academically, and spiritually.  Strong verbal and written communication skills are desired as well as a working knowledge of coaching techniques and willingness to grow and develop new techniques.
