To act as the Assistant Varsity Women’s Coach in the sport as specified, for the fall/winter/spring season (as specified).  Position reports to the Head Coach of the program.

DESCRIPTION/DUTIES:

• Coordinate all recruiting activities with the Head Coach, Admissions/Athletic Department liaison and adhere to all institutional admissions policies and procedures on a consistent basis.
• Assist the Head Coach in all phases of coaching, recruiting, training, conditioning, practices, game preparation and fundraising.
• Assist in supervision during travel, as well as prior to and following games and practices.
• Assist in completion in national, regional and conference reports and logs.
• Drive college vehicles to away games.
• Position requires evening and weekend work and travel for recruiting and competitions.
• In the absence of the Head Coach, coach will report directly to the Director of Athletics.
• Ensure all practices and contests are conducted in a professional manner and that the highest standards of sportsmanship and integrity are maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum qualifications: HS diploma, coaching experience with ages 15 and up, knowledge of basketball, excellent communication and organizational skills, valid driver’s license, evening and weekend travel for recruitment and competitions, well-developed time management and organizational skills and final job offer contingent on background check.

Preferred qualifications: Associates degree or higher, college coaching experience, previous college playing experience and knowledge of NJCAA rules and regulations. Seasonal stipend $2500.
