Colorado College invites applications for the full-time women’s basketball assistant coaching position. Colorado College is a Division III member of the NCAA and is committed to providing the finest liberal arts education in the nation alongside a top-notch athletic experience.

Responsibilities in this role include (but are not limited to) assisting with the following aspects of the women’s basketball program:

• Coaching in practices, games, and individual/small-group skill sessions
• Developing skills of individual student-athletes
• Scouting of opponents and assisting with game-plan development
• Editing game film and helping student-athletes grow through film sessions
• Identifying and recruiting prospective student-athletes (on and off campus)
• Transporting student-athletes as is necessary
• Managing team community service efforts
• Developing relationships with our alumni base and other supporters
• Working on program fundraising opportunities
• Coordinating travel logistics
• Representing Colorado College at the highest level both on campus and in the community
• Handling program social media accounts and various other communication efforts
• Mentoring student-athletes in all facets (team-building, leadership development, academics, etc.)
• Maintaining a positive, professional, and championship-level culture in all aspects of the program
• Executing other administrative duties as assigned
• Adhering to all department, conference, and NCAA regulations

This is a full-time, 9-month appointment with benefits. $26,000 anticipated salary with an opportunity to earn up to an additional $2,000 in the summer months. Assistant coaches can use up to $1,000 per year for professional development activities. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree.
