The Butler Women’s Basketball program seeks a full-time assistant coach to start immediately.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teaching- Assist with teaching and coaching during individual/group skill instruction, practice coaching, game coaching and scouting which leads to the team’s competitive success. Assist with pre and post season conditioning, weight training and skill development.
• Student-Athlete Experience- Assist with academic monitoring and personal development of student-athletes. Contribute to building a positive team culture.
• Recruiting- Assist with evaluation and recruitment of academically qualified and highly skilled student-athletes.
• Administrative duties- As assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Earned four-year baccalaureate degree required. Masters preferred.
• Coaching experience on a university campus and recruiting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required.
• Collegiate coaching preferred.
• The desired candidate will have outstanding verbal communication and leadership skills.
• Able to work effectively with student-athletes, coaches, administrators and staff
