Under supervision of the head coach, assists with coaching duties for the University’s NCAA Division 1 Women’s Basketball program in such a manner as to build and maintain a competitive, quality program that reflects positively on the image and reputation of the University at all times.

• Assists head coach in organizing, preparing, and conducting individual and team practices, training, and competition.
• Assists the head coach in recruiting activity in accordance with NCAA rules and regulations.
• Oversees and coordinates one or more specified areas of a sporting discipline and/or components of a team, as appropriate to the sport being coached.
• Assists the head coach in various operational and administrative aspects of the program, including but not limited to: database management; organizing and running institutional camps; alumni and booster engagement and outreach; etc.
• Represents the sports program to various institutional entities and externally to media, government agencies, students, parents, and the general public.
• Complies with all NCAA, Conference, University, and Department of Athletics policies.
