The Employee will accomplish the duties and responsibilities as the Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach as agreed upon with the CEO, AD and Head Women’s Basketball Coach. The Employee will fully support the mission and objectives of the Air Force Academy, Department of Athletics and the AFAAC. The Employee will help direct and be responsible for the operation of the U.S. Air Force Academy Intercollegiate Women’s Basketball Program, to include, but not be limited to, the following:

a. Assisting the varsity Women’s Basketball team.

b. Coaching and providing individual instruction to all members of the varsity Women’s Basketball

team.

c. Recruiting the best available cadet candidates through all NCAA permissible means as directed by

the Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

d. Serving on national committees, if the opportunity arises.

e. Assisting with preparing and organizing the varsity Women’s Basketball team’s schedules.

f. Organizing and being present at all related varsity practices and contests.

g. Ensuring that cadets represent the Academy in a dignified manner both in actions and dress.

h. Attending Athletic Department coaches meetings, as necessary.

i. Attending the annual Coaches Convention, if so directed.

j. Assisting with organizing and administering AFAAC sponsored sports camps and clinics for Women’s

Basketball, as separately negotiated.

k. Establishing and maintaining an appropriate relationship with the Prep School Athletic

Department.
