South Mountain Community College is hiring two stipend assistant coaches for women’s basketball.

Duties include assisting the head coach with: on-court coaching, evaluation of recruits, creation of scouting reports and practice plans, game day duties, and compliance of NJCAA policies. Assistant coaches are expected to help mentor student-athletes in academics, athletics, and life skills.

The assistant stipend will range from $3,000-5,000.00 (depending on qualifications). Stipend will be paid out during the basketball season (September to March)

Required Qualifications:

An accredited college degree, minimum of an Associate’s Degree. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates need to have experience in coaching female student-athletes at the high school or college level, a valid driver’s license to assist with team transportation on game days, and be CPR/First Aid certified.
