Description: | The Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Development and Video Operations is the primary contact for all elements of a student athlete’s academic, social, athletic, and emotional welfare. This position reports directly to the Head Coach providing daily updates on the progress of the student-athletes daily life. The Assistant Director manages the video department for Women’s Basketball and coordinates all of the NCAA Compliance work for the program. The Assistant Director coordinates team managers, practice players, practice/game set up, and monitors facility upkeep. This position will oversee the women’s basketball mentor program along with organizing community service projects.
The Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Development and Video Operations will serve as the liaison for the Women’s basketball program and the departmental marketing department. This position will communicate with the student-athletes on academic issues and update coaching and academic staff on pertinent information. This position also ensures that collaborative and constructive relationships are maintained with university partners, with respect to academic and compliance, student support, financial aid, facilities and game day operations to insure optimal outcomes for student-athletes.
