Urbana University, a division of Franklin University, and a member of the NCAA Division II Mountain East Conference, has an opening for an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach who will also serve as the Women’s Golf Coach. Reporting to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach, primary responsibilities for the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach include recruiting, doing scouting reports, breaking down film, handling academic responsibilities including conducting classroom checks, and making travel arrangements for the team. In addition, the position would benefit by having someone who had prior strength and conditioning experience in his/her background. The position would report directly to the Director of Athletics for the Women’s Golf Coach portion of his/her responsibilities which include the recruitment, organization, development and overall direction of the Women’s Golf team. We seek someone with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and two to three years of previous experience recruiting and coaching and/or playing basketball and golf, preferably at the collegiate level. Candidates who possess a demonstrated track record of success coaching at the high school and/or club level will also receive consideration. A Master’s degree and previous NCAA experience are preferred for this position
