The University of Pittsburgh Johnstown invites cover letters and resumes for immediate review for the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. Pitt-Johnstown is a long-term member of the NCAA Division II and a two year member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the head coach in all areas of the basketball program. Including: recruitment of high quality student-athletes, academic success of the student-athletes, practice preparation, fundraising, game preparation, film exchange, and additional duties as assigned. The assistant coach will also be responsible for supporting the head coach in upholding the philosophy, goals, and mission of the University, the Department of Athletics, and the Women’s Basketball program. A bachelor’s degree is required, and basketball coaching or expertise is preferable.
