Southeastern Louisiana University invites applicants for the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach.

The Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach develops, plans, and directs all administrative phases of the women’s basketball program, including but not limited to: monitoring of expenditures, preparing expense reports, scheduling of facilities for practices/team meetings/individual workouts; scheduling of facilities for away competitions; team transportation and dining logistics; and scheduling team meals for home and away games as well as team meals during holiday breaks. In addition, the Assistant Coach coordinates all video and scouting needs according to Southland Conference film exchange guidelines; assists (as needed) with the admissions process for incoming freshmen and transfers including NCAA Clearinghouse and Southeastern orientation; plans and assists with the implementation of comprehensive weekend activities for parents and prospective student-athletes for on-campus recruiting visits, and community service outreach planning and development; assists the Head Coach with on-court instruction/training of student-athletes as needed; manages team social media; alumni outreach; and assisting with summer camps and clinics as directed.
