Salt Lake Community College is accepting applications for the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach/Academic Advisor position. Duties: Assist the head coach with all components of a comprehensive, highly competitive community college basketball program. Duties include, but not limited to, ability to analyze, breakdown and develop strategies; ability to assess talent and recruit potential students-athletes; ability to assist with organization and management of a collegiate basketball program as it relates to scheduling, scouting, travel arrangements and monitoring student-athletes. Major advising responsibilities: Assist the student -athletes with career and academic choices/decisions; explore course work, sequencing, developing class schedules and monitoring academic progress. Other duties as assigned.
