Under the direction of the Head Women’s Basketball Coach, the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the development and administration of a successful NCAA Division III Intercollegiate Women’s Basketball Sports Program. The program will be conducted in accordance with all University and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules, regulations, and policies.
Essential functions of the position include but are not limited to:
* Teaching and developing sport specific skills, in a successful, safe, and prudent manner
* Developing, presenting, and maintaining an up-to-date lesson plan of pre-season/season practice drills and procedures
* Scheduling practice and game preparation sessions as well as conducting post game analysis
* Assisting in the recruitment of high caliber student-athletes
* Fundraising, when required, for the women’s basketball program.
This is a part-time (20 hours per week), 9-month position paid by stipend on a bi-weekly basis.
