| Description: | Presbyterian College, a NCAA Division I institution and member of the Big South Conference invites candidates to apply for the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. The Assistant Coach will be responsible for supporting the head coach towards the successful operation of the Presbyterian College Women’s Basketball program. Duties include, but are not limited to: assisting all recruiting efforts, including the evaluation of prospective student-athletes, contacting high school coaches, organizing on and off-campus recruiting visits, work collaboratively with the offices of compliance, admissions, financial aid and student life, monitors the academic progress of student-athletes, organizes academic checks, study hall sessions and class scheduling, assist coaching staff with the scouting of opponents, direct off-season workouts, oversee all aspects of team travel within the policies and procedures of Presbyterian College, helps organize and direct summer basketball camps and performs other duties as assigned by head coach. Knowledge of and adherence to NCAA rules and regulations as well as a dedication to the academic development of the student-athlete is required.
