Ottawa University (KS) is seeking a full-time assistant women’s basketball coach for an anticipated opening July 1, 2012. This position includes coaching responsibilities, as well as game day operations responsibilities within the athletic department. Applicants with a strong coaching background and experience in athletic administration will receive priority consideration. This coach will be responsible for assisting with all phases of the women’s basketball program as assigned by the Head Coach. A commitment and desire to recruit student-athletes to a liberal arts institution that places a high priority on academics and diversity is expected. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, Masters Degree preferred. At least three years of successful coaching experience is required. A demonstrated ability to coach successfully at the college or high school level, an understanding of and commitment to academic and athletic excellence and a commitment to the NAIA Champions of Character values
