Marietta College is a member of NCAA Division III and the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC).

Marietta College is seeking an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. This position will assist the Head Coach in managing all phases of a NCAA, Division III women’s basketball program with specific responsibilities outlined below:

• Understand, support and embody team’s overarching philosophy as developed by Head Coach.
• Coach position group as assigned by head coach using individual skill and team development techniques.
• Assist planning practice
• Assist game planning for each opponent
• Scout opponents by analyzing video
• Assist in recruitment by: update database, send out mailings, provide weekly recruiting schedule, regular contact and correspondence with qualified prospects
• Teach a 1-credit skill class in each semester
• Perform athletic department duties as assigned by the athletic director. Such duties may include: game day management, facility supervision, intramural supervision, sports information assistance and other duties as assigned.

Build positive interpersonal relationships in and out of the athletic department by attending College functions, both social and professional; staff meetings; faculty meetings; serving on committees; etc.
