Lynn University, a private, liberal arts NCAA Division II institution and a member of the Sunshine State Conference, is accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Assistant Women’s Basketball coach. This is a 12-month, full-time position. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all aspects of managing the program. Specific duties include organization, administration and coaching of the team; recruiting qualified student-athletes; coordinating team travel; monitoring student-athletes’ academic progress; providing instruction at daily team practice and during competition; traveling extensively to recruit prospective student-athletes; and committing to University, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. Candidate must have intercollegiate basketball coaching experience, knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance, as well as effective communication, player relations and leadership skills.
