Luther College is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball/Residence Hall Director. The position will assist the Head Women’s Basketball Coach and the Director of Residence Life. Basketball duties will include, but are not limited to: recruiting, skill instruction, practice planning, team management, fundraising, summer camps. Residence Life duties will include, but are not limited to: administering housing operations for one residence hall, training and supervising resident assistants, and assisting the area coordinator with disciplinary matters. A master’s degree is preferred, BA and collegiate playing experience required. Candidate must have strong knowledge of basketball, as well as strong leadership, communication, organizational, conflict mediation, and computer skills. Candidate must be willing to work weekends and evenings as well as travel. Compensation includes salary, furnished apartment and meal plan. This is a full time, 10 month appointment starting August 1st
