Description:

Assist the head coach for women’s basketball in day-to-day operations and coaching of a Division I intercollegiate program that includes but is not limited to the following:

1. Serves as Recruiting Coordinator.
2. Assists Head Coach in developing defensive strategies.
3. Assists in the development of conditioning programs.
4. Plans and executes strategy for scheduling nationally competitive teams.
5. Identifies and recruits quality student-athletes on a national and regional level.
6. Evaluates prospective student-athletes’ athletic and academic abilities.
7. Presents prospective student-athletes to head coach for review and final selection.
8. Leads and plans fundraising, public relations, alumni, and community activities.
9. Generates ideas and strategies for communicating and promoting the Women’s Basketball program.
10. Scouts and evaluates opponents’ performance and recommends game strategies.
11. Prepares and presents scouting reports.
12. Plans and coordinates summer camp skill instruction and team competitions.
13. Assists with summer camps.
14. Performs other duties as required.
