LONG BEACH STATE ATHLETICS seeks applications for assistant coaches for our Women”s Basketball staff. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with the development and supervision of the student-athletes in the Women’s Basketball program; assisting with organizing, conducting, and supervising all practices and games; assisting in recruiting quality student-athletes under the guidelines established by the University, NCAA and the Big West Conference; assisting with scheduling nationally competitive teams in conjunction with the Head Coach; assisting with budgetary responsibilities including recruitment, team travel, and equipment; performing computer related tasks; monitoring student-athlete academic progress; and participating in community fund-raising efforts and public relations.
