Under the guidelines of Keuka College, the NEAC Conference and the NCAA, the assistant coach, assists the head coach in all aspects of the assigned sport. As a head coach, they are responsible for all aspects of the assigned sport program, including but not limited to: Recruiting, eligibility, game and practice plans, budget preparation and monitoring, scheduling, supervising and monitoring assistant coaches, public relations and promotion of the sport and department, fundraising, supervision of student athletes and staff during practices, contests and trips to insure they represent Keuka College in a positive manner, work collaboratively and collegially with fellow staff members, others duties as assigned. It is also the responsibility of the head coach to assure that all Keuka College, NEAC and NCAA rules and regulations are followed. Any violation of Keuka College, NEAC or NCAA rules is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. Work will include occasional evening and weekend responsibilities. Bachelors required, Masters preferred and 2 years of coaching or playing experience.
