The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Indiana University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a part-time Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach.
Responsibilities: Assisting the head coach with organizing, coaching, recruiting and conditioning of student-athletes involved in a Division II women’s basketball program. Duties include, but are not limited to, all phases of recruiting, practice and game coaching, scouting on digital editing system, academic monitoring, player development, summer camps/clinics and public relations. Must have positive communication skills and coach the program within the rules and regulations of IUP, the PSAC and the NCAA at all times. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the head women’s basketball coach. The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is interested in candidates who have the communication skills and cross-cultural abilities to maximize their effectiveness with diverse groups of students, colleagues and community members.
