The Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach is responsible for providing support to the the Head Coach in the areas of on-court coaching; assist with practice and game preparation; academic oversight; and recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
Performs administrative duties related to the women’s basketball program; promotes Georgia State University through community involvement.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two (2) years experience or equivalent combination. Knowledge of NCAA rules required.
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated successful Division I Coaching experience; ability to motivate student-athletes academically and athletically; demonstrated ability to recruit qualified student-athletes.
