Assists in team coaching, preparing team for competition, and individual student-athlete development. To also include, assisting in monitoring academic, social, and personal development of women’s basketball student-athletes.
Assists in identifying and recruiting academically and athletically talented student-athletes for the women’s basketball program. Assists in the coordination of individual travel for the purpose of student-athlete recruitment.
Assists in promoting and developing the program by creating and maintaining effective relationships with alumni, donors, and community members. Participates in events as a representative of the department and women’s basketball program.
Maintain knowledge and remain current regarding all appropriate NCAA, Conference, Department of Athletics and Recreation, and University compliance issues, policies, and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Director of Athletics and Recreation. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning additional responsibilities that are logically related to the position.
