Florida Institute of Technology is currently searching for an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach for the Athletics department. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist the Head Women’s Basketball Coach with the overall management of the women’s basketball program Assist in all aspects of the recruitment process, including the development of recruitment plans and targeting potential student-athletes for recruitment purposes and making recommendations Provide leadership and instruction in the academic and athletic development of student-athletes Develop and implement strategies for motivating student-athletes to perform at maximum levels as both individuals and a team Assist in the organization of regular practice sessions, competitions, fundraising events and community service projects Assist with coordination of travel arrangements Enforce policies and procedures outlined in student-athlete handbook, team rules and university student handbook
