· Knowledge of and compliance with National Collegiate Athletic Association, Division 1 rules and regulations
· Knowledge of basketball fundamentals, position detail and strategies;
· Knowledge of budgeting process and basic Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Etc.)

· Sound organization and technical skills
· Knowledge of fundamental basketball equipment needs and ability to order equipment
· Skills in video taping and the use of such equipment
· Ability to teach basketball during preparation and practice sessions
· Ability to motivate team players through effective and appropriate interaction with diverse population, University Community and the public
· Ability to scout opponents and travel for recruiting student athletes;
· Ability to drive student athletes or other students to team activities and/or athletic events

· Ability to coordinate summer camps
