East Tennessee State University, a member of the Southern Conference, is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. This is a 12 month position with benefits. Primary responsibilities are to assist the Head Women’s Basketball Coach in all aspects of a Division I Women’s Basketball program including, but not limited to: assist in practice and contests at the direction of the head coach; develop player skill development program for assigned position group; assist in the video breakdown & scouting for contests; plan and implement innovative recruiting efforts; assist in the planning and implementation of camps and clinics; assist in community service outreach and other duties as assigned by the head coach. Candidate should have strong organizational, interpersonal communication, problem solving, and computer skills; an ability to foster academic success and student athlete welfare; and operate in full compliance of NCAA, University, and Southern Conference rules.
