Reporting directly to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach, the individual serving in this position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
Assisting in organizing and conducting in-season basketball practices
Assisting in the recruitment of student-athletes
Scheduling and coordinating campus visitations
Assisting with bench coaching at basketball games
Organizing and coordinating women’s basketball team travel
Working with the Athletics Academic Counselor to insure academic progress of student-athletes
Assisting in the supervision and coordination of the strength and conditioning program for women’s basketball
Promoting good public relations for the women’s basketball program, the Athletic Department, and East Carolina University
Other duties as directed by the Head Women’s Basketball Coach
Building quality relationships and working collaboratively and professionally with Pirate Club, athletics, and University staff, students, business vendors and all donors and stakeholders
Abiding by all written policies and procedures of ECU, the Department of Athletics, The Educational Foundation (Pirate Club), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and all applicable conferences or associations
