Utah State University is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Coach/ Director of Video & Analytics.

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Utilization of advanced analytics to assist student-athlete development and help with personalized plans on the development of student-athletes

• Provide video and analytics from practice and games to assist Coaches
• Utilization of analytics for transfer portal projections which assist in overall roster management
• Utilization of analytics for scheduling purposes
• Assist with on campus recruiting
• Assist in managing practice and game film
• Provides data analytics to assist Head Coach in reaching goals for effective play
• Assist with any day-to-day operations of basketball program
• Assist with statistical analysis of particular lineups, matchups, situations, and tendencies
• Responsible for filming all practices, along with the recording of statistics
• Assist head coach in preparing student-athletes for competition
• Provide on-court coaching at practice and in games as allowed under NCCA rules
• Demonstrate strong support for the academic mission of the university and NCAA by coordinating with academic services to monitor the academic progress of student-athletes
• Act as a liaison to assigned athletic department and university entities
• Other duties as assigned by head coach

Responsibilities also include adherence to and promotion of NCAA rules and compliance to staff, student-athletes and representatives of athletics interest; successful completion of NCAA recruiting exam, team building, and community and public relations.

The assistant coach/ director of video & analytics will demonstrate an understanding and commitment to athletics programs at NCAA Division I level, have a commitment to the academic mission of Utah State University, a commitment to the academic success of the student-athletes, serve as a positive role model for student-athletes on and off the court, and work well with students, faculty, staff, and community.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience that demonstrates an excellent knowledge of the techniques and strategies of the sport of Women’s Basketball
• Candidate should have knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
• Candidate must possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience at the collegiate level
