Dakota State University is seeking candidates for an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. This is a ten-month, benefit eligible position. The purpose of this position is to support and enhance the direction of the Dakota State University Athletic Department and the Basketball program. Duties will include but are not limited to recruiting, fund-raising and development of summer camps, pre-season conditioning and weight training, practice and game coaching and monitoring the academic progress of the team and individual student-athletes. This position will also serve as a JV Women’s Basketball Coach with practice and game coaching, student development and recruitment. Additional administrative and compliance duties include maintenance of the Basketball website, working as a liaison with the Admissions Office to coordinate student visits on campus, recruiting, fundraising, compliance, student retention and student study efforts to maintain higher student athlete Grade Point Averages (GPA’s).
