| Description: | Christopher Newport University invites applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. Reporting to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach, the successful candidate will assist in all aspects of maintaining an elite, nationally ranked, basketball program with aspirations of consistently playing in the NCAA Division III post-season tournament and the promotion of Christopher Newport University’s mission and values as a preeminent, undergraduate liberal arts university. Candidates must have a genuine understanding and commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy that places priority on the overall quality of the student-athletes’ educational experience and the successful completion of all academic programs. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: scouting, recruiting, daily practice, organizational duties, fundraising, and providing leadership and mentorship of student-athletes. This position is a 12 month, full-time position with an excellent benefits package. |
