Description:
Birmingham-Southern College has an opening for Assistant Coach of Women’s Basketball effective July 1, 2015. The Assistant Coach will recruit, train, and coach members of the women’s basketball team, schedule games and perform various administrative duties. This is a full-time, twelve month position. Birmingham-Southern College is a member of the Southern Athletic Association and a member of the NCAA at the Division III level.
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred. A strong commitment to the Student-Athlete concept and a working knowledge of the NCAA rules and regulations is required.  Collegiate playing experience as well as one to two years coaching experience including effective leadership, communication, and recruiting skills is preferred.
