The Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting in all aspects of developing and advancing a competitive women’s NCAA Division I basketball program in the America East Conference.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Evaluation and recruitment of prospective student athletes who can succeed in a challenging academic environment Assist head coach in preparation and conduct of practices and games Scouting of assigned opponents Player skill development Assist with administrative duties Participate in program and departmental fundraising, public relations and promotional efforts Adhering to all rules and regulations of the university, NCAA and the America East Conference
-Bachelor’s degree is required -Master’s degree is preferred -Minimum of 3 -5 year’s of experience at the Division I level is desired
