The Arcadia University Department of Athletics is accepting applications for the part-time position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of managing the program, including, but not limited to, practice planning, game preparation/scouting, recruiting, and all other duties as assigned by the head coach. This position includes a part-time stipend.
Skills, Abilities & Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree required. CPR, AED and first aid certifications preferred. Valid driver’s license is required. Collegiate playing experience strongly preferred. Previous coaching experience at collegiate or high-school level is preferred. Ability to physically demonstrate sport-specific skills required. Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel for both games and recruiting is expected. Basic computer competency required. Good communications skills required. Compliance with NCAA Division III rules and regulations is required.
Ability to successfully complete a background check, motor vehicle check and drug test.
