Job Description
Breakthrough Basketball is looking for reliable, dedicated basketball coaches for our basketball camps (Grades 1st-12th). Our coaches must have the desire to work with children and the ability to teach the fundamentals of basketball in a camp setting.
Breakthrough Basketball is committed to developing youth throughout the country on and off the court. Our goal is to develop kids who understand how to play the game the right way. People skills are a must. Personal attributes should include: enthusiasm, a sense of humor, patience and self-control. He/she must identify and meet camper’s needs and have high moral standards. Our coaches are expected to be role models and positive examples at all times.
  • Oversee a group of 10 players on-court and provide timely feedback, reminders and encouragement.
  • Assist with demonstration of drills and habits on-court.
  • Give meaningful feedback to campers to improve their game and overall character.
  • Be collaborative with the rest of the coaching and admin staff while assisting.
  • Ensure player safety and reiterating the concepts conveyed by the lead clinician.
Requirements
 
  • Knowledge of the game a passion to share it with campers/coaches.
  • Responsible, timely, and mature.
  • Comfortable working with children of all ages, both male and female.
